Alista is event operations software for destination management companies, made by 1st Thing Apps in Barcelona.
Why it exists
Before every event, a project manager at a DMC assembles one master document: the whole programme, with its contacts, its rooming and its transfers. It takes days to build, and it begins to go out of date the moment it is sent.
Alista starts somewhere else. The programme is planned once, and every list and printed copy comes from it. Two things follow from that, and they are what Alista is built around:
- A change made once is changed everywhere.
- Each person sees the part that is theirs, with no extra work for anybody.
Where it stands
Alista is in early access with a small number of DMCs. It runs in the browser on a Mac, a PC, a tablet or a phone. If you run group programmes and would like to try it on a real event,tell us about it.
